Training
Training is an integral part of a software implementation project and professional development program. To maximize your investment in the software and to maximize your investment in your team members, comprehensive training materials which cover the goals of the business unit, the methods of the business process, the features of the software tool and the measures of success must be developed and maintained. It is Stone Cobra’s belief that training should be a required portion of the software implementation lifecycle and can provide cross-purpose functionality with other implementation tasks such as User Acceptance Testing, Usability Testing and Beta Testing.
Following is a list of training services provided by Stone Cobra:
- Development of customized training materials which reflect training the audience on the usage of the tool with respect to the business process the software is designed to support
- Delivery of a one-time training class to get a critical mass audience up and running on the new software
- Delivery of a train-the-trainer class to support ongoing training activities in the organization
- Development of living training materials such as on-demand movies and interactive CBT’s to ensure that training is always available when needed
- Development of just-in-time training via software Help for low-complexity applications
- Integration of forums, chats, blogs or wikis into your training environment to continue to capture knowledge
Stone Cobra understands that different audiences have different training needs. We work with you and consider factors such as skill level, number of people, rate of turnover, and opportunity for outside training such as mentoring to determine the appropriate channels for training delivery. Stone Cobra typically delivers three levels of training aimed at End Users, Application Administrators, and IT Administrators.
