Amanda Roberts | CEO, Stone Cobra

Amanda Roberts | CEO, Co-Founder

Amanda has over 10 years of extensive enterprise software experience, managing and designing products from the initial concept through mature market releases. Amanda specializes in the intersection between Business Best Practices and Enterprise Software where the right combination provides maximum, long-term value to the organization. Prior to Stone Cobra, Amanda worked in senior management roles for multiple successful enterprise software product companies including Octane CRM Software which was purchased for $3.2 billion. In her time off, Amanda deeply enjoys her sons, concocting any water-based activity, and alternative healing. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of California.

Scott Sanders | CTO, Co-Founder

Scott Sanders | CTO, Co-Founder

Scott has over 15 years of experience developing highly performant, enterprise-grade software from the data layer to the business logic to the presentation layer. Scott has also been an active member of the open source community for the past 9 years including an early position as an Apache Software Foundation Member. Prior to Stone Cobra, Scott worked in senior engineering roles for multiple successful enterprise software product companies. In one example at Mobileum, Scott Re-architected the mobile commerce application to support 10 million dynamic page views per day on one server. In his ‘spare time,’ Scott enjoys playing with his two sons, metal working, and wreaking havoc with his tractors.

Krista Sanders | Creative Director, Stone Cobra

Krista | Creative Director

Krista has more than 10 years of experience as a graphic designer, website designer, user interaction designer, and enterprise application user interface designer. She is experienced with creating designs that adhere to both industry standards for quality as well as client usability. Her skills cross the multiple levels of an Award Winning Interface:

  • Design: Look and feel that enforces the brand while evoking the desired emotion from the user (including graphic design, HTML, CSS, Javascript, etc)
  • Usability: Ease at which a user can achieve their intended goal
  • Features: Balancing form and function to offer the optimum amount of tools and integration to the user based on the user’s skills and role
  • Technology: Utilizing appropriate technologies to give the user the most natural interface for each type of interaction (including AJAX, Flash, Flex, etc)

Combining these elements, Krista’s recent projects include: Designing a rich internet application that blends collaboration and multi-media with the social features of Web 2.0, and designing an Enterprise 2.0 application focused on the voice of the customer and community.

Prior to Stone Cobra, Krista had the distinction of designing and producing Nationally Recognized Multimedia Programs in support of compliance to government regulations. She also worked as a Design Specialist to identify and design effective applications to address client-side gaps in professional development practices; one such project resulted in a five-fold increase in productivity saving 2,880 man hours per year. As an entrepreneur, Krista ran a design firm focused on customer loyalty through superior design of every point of customer interaction.

Jay Rutten | Senior Architect, Engineer, Stone Cobra

Jay | Senior Architect, Engineer

Jay is a Senior Technical Architect with more than fifteen years of professional object-oriented and web programming experience. He has experience in the full Software Development Life Cycle including designing, developing, implementing, maintaining and customizing software. Prior to joining Stone Cobra, Jay was the Senior Technical Architect at ProStores, an eBay Company, developing and maintaining highly scalable, hosted, e-commerce software packages. Jay’s experience also includes multi-tiered call center support applications, optical character recognition (OCR) software, Telecom-specific response systems, and custom telemetry software. Although Jay currently exercises his technical skills, his background includes additional experience as a consulting business owner and a writer of books such as Database Developer’s Guide with Borland C++ 5 and Web Programming with Visual J++. Jay excels at all his endeavors, including his education where we graduated Magna Cum Laude and was a member of both Tau Beta Pi, Engineering Honor Society, and Eta Kappa Nu, Electrical/Computer Engineering Honor Society.

Evie Roberts | Business Manager, Stone Cobra

Evie | Business Manager

Evie is a financial guru with more than 30 years of corporate lending and banking experience for one of the top 3 banks in the US. Evie has held industry positions such as Chief Risk Officer and Senior Vice President of Corporate Lending and has now agreed to ‘step-down’ to oversee finance and accounting for Stone Cobra. Evie’s wealth of experience contributes to the strategic direction of Stone Cobra and has made us a valuable company since inception. Evie holds degrees in Math and Physics from Atlantic College in North Carolina where she graduated with high honors.
